"Family Literacy" is used to describe persons that are guardians of children that are in school or another education program who want to learn more about children and support their child's educational growth.

"Education in Action" is a series of workshops for adult learners who want to learn valuable life skills while taking classes.
Family Lit
Classes are open to anyone enrolled in either adult education classes or ESL classes at the Madison County Adult Education Center who wishes to learn new things and is willing to have fun both individually and with their children (Family Literacy).

If you or someone you know wants to enroll in the Family Literacy Program, then contact Lawana Wilson, Family Literacy Coordinator, at (859) 622-8065.  An assessment will be given in order for you and our staff to know what educational area(s) you need to work on and which class would best fit your needs.Family Lit
